About

The 1st International Workshop on Majorana Physics in Superconductors, IWMPS 2026, will be held in Beijing, China, from August 10–13, 2026. Registration will take place on August 10. We warmly welcome your in-person participation.

The workshop will focus on recent fundamental advances in Majorana physics in superconductors, including both theoretical and experimental progress on Majorana zero modes in systems such as iron-based superconductors, magnetic atomic chains on superconductors, topological-insulator/superconductor heterostructures, and nanowire/superconductor hybrid systems.

The scientific program will also feature focused sessions on several major challenges in the field, including the fusion and braiding of Majorana zero modes. These sessions are intended to foster in-depth discussion and promote close scientific collaboration.

Rather than having every invited participant give a presentation, we anticipate selecting a limited number of speakers from among the participants, thereby allowing more time for discussion and interaction.

We look forward to seeing you at IWMPS 2026.

Sincerely,
